Patrick and Alex grew up in Iowa and met at Iowa State University - upon graduation they made the move to Door County in 2012.  They immediately fell in love with the area, the people and of course the best little shops and restaurants.  Both having a hospitality/food and beverage background and working in different places throughout the county the one thing that they felt as though was missing, was a local, homemade bagel shop in Sturgeon Bay.

What started out as an idea over 5 years ago has quickly become a reality!  Driven by the love of bagels and some positive reinforcement from friends and family; Door County Bagel Company was born in October 2020.
